King House (Newton, Massachusetts)

The King House, located at 328 Brookline Street in Newton, Massachusetts, is a historic timber-frame structure built around 1710, making it one of the few surviving First Period houses in the area. Originally constructed by cooper Jonathan Dyke, the house features Greek Revival styling added in the 19th century and is notable for its association with local physician Noah King. The architecture includes a five-bay facade, a side gable roof, twin interior chimneys, and clapboard siding, with a main entrance showcasing a Greek Revival surround.
