Duncan Manor

Duncan Manor is a historic Italianate house located in McLean County, Illinois, built in 1866 for livestock breeder William R. Duncan. The mansion features striking architectural elements, including two three-story towers and a hand-carved walnut staircase, and is designed in an H-shape reminiscent of Renaissance styles. After being added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979, the property faced challenges but was revitalized in 2016 when it was acquired by a nonprofit organization. Today, Duncan Manor serves as a private residence and is open for small tours, concerts, and community events, making it a unique destination for tourists and researchers interested in history and architecture.
