Firestone Building

The Firestone Building, constructed in 1929 and located at 578 North Orange Avenue in downtown Orlando, is a historic structure designed by the Tampa architectural firm Francis J. Kennard & Son. Originally built for Harvey Firestone's Firestone Tire and Rubber Company, it served the company until 1977 before being rented out. The building has recently housed a namesake club and was featured in a 1933 publication on steel frame structures. Recognized for its architectural significance, it was included in A Guide to Florida's Historic Architecture in 1989.
