Oklahoma State Capitol – capitol with active oil wells

The Oklahoma State Capitol building sits on grounds that contain active oil wells, making it one of the few U.S. state capitols with on-site oil production. The capitol is the seat of Oklahoma's executive, legislative, and judicial branches and features distinctive classical revival architecture.
