Tennessee State Museum (new building)

The Tennessee State Museum opened a new, consolidated building adjacent to Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park to display the state's historical collections. The facility houses permanent and rotating galleries that interpret Tennessee's history from pre-contact to the present and includes artifact storage and conservation space. The museum's location creates a direct visual and physical relationship with the Tennessee State Capitol and Capitol Mall.
