The Westin Book Cadillac (Book-Cadillac Hotel)

Opened in 1924 as the Book-Cadillac Hotel, this Beaux-Arts landmark on Washington Boulevard was restored and reopened as The Westin Book Cadillac Detroit in 2008. The hotel retains ornate historic public interiors, grand ballrooms, and decorative details that reflect early 20th-century luxury hotel design. It is part of the Washington Boulevard Historic District and has played a notable role in downtown Detroit's architectural and hospitality history.
