Bragg–Mitchell Mansion

The Bragg–Mitchell Mansion, a historic house museum in Mobile, Alabama, was built in 1855 by Judge John Bragg and is renowned for its striking Greek Revival architecture. This two-story mansion features tall columns and a three-sided veranda, making it one of the most photographed buildings in the city. The mansion has a rich history, including significant events during the American Civil War, such as the removal of its furnishings and the cutting of live oak trees for military strategy.
