Skirvin Hotel (early 20th-century hotel)

The Skirvin Hotel opened in 1911 and was developed by William Skirvin; it is one of Oklahoma City's earliest and most historically significant hotels. The building exhibits Beaux-Arts-influenced design details and became a local landmark for downtown hospitality. After closing in 1988, the hotel underwent a major restoration and reopened in 2007, retaining many historic interior and exterior features.
