Oriental Apartments

The Oriental Apartments, a historic building located in southeast Portland, Oregon, is a notable example of Tudor Revival architecture, constructed in 1926. This two-story multi-family dwelling features 13 studio apartments and three one-bedroom apartments, all with identical floor plans. The building is recognized for its distinctive architectural elements, including a brick exterior, gables, a round-arched entrance, and unique interior features like Murphy-bed closets and leaded-glass cupboards. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1992, making it a significant site for both tourists and researchers interested in Portland's architectural history.
