Tianyi Ge

Tianyi Ge, also known as Tianyi Pavilion, is a historic library and garden located in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, China, established in 1561 during the Ming Dynasty by scholar Fan Qin. Renowned for its vast collection, which once exceeded 70,000 volumes, the library has faced numerous challenges over the centuries, including theft and damage, but has seen a revival since the establishment of the People's Republic of China. Today, it houses around 30,000 volumes, including rare Ming dynasty texts, and is recognized as a National Heritage Site. The complex features traditional Jiangnan architectural styles and beautiful gardens, making it a significant cultural and historical attraction for tourists and researchers alike.
