Blue Flame Building

The Blue Flame Building, also known as the El Paso Natural Gas Company Building, is a historic skyscraper in El Paso, Texas, completed in 1954. Once the tallest building in the city, it features a unique 21-foot tall flame weather beacon that changes colors to indicate weather conditions. After serving as the headquarters for the El Paso Natural Gas Company, it underwent a major renovation completed in 2021, transforming it into a mixed-use space with retail, offices, and low-income apartments. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and offers stunning views of Ciudad Juárez and the surrounding area, making it a notable attraction for tourists and researchers alike.
