Sultana Malak Palace

Sultana Malak Palace, located in the Heliopolis Suburb of Cairo, is a historically significant building designed by Belgian engineer Édouard Empain. Originally intended as a gift for Sultan Hussein Kamel, he chose to purchase it instead but passed away before the transaction. The palace later became associated with Sultana Malak, the Sultan's second wife, who leased it until 1960 when it was converted into a school. In 2000, it was recognized as an archaeological site, highlighting its importance within the rich tapestry of Islamic and Coptic heritage in Egypt.
