Grant Hall (Queen's University)

Grant Hall is a historic academic building located on the campus of Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, completed in 1905. Named after Principal George Monro Grant, it serves as a prominent symbol of the university and hosts various ceremonial events, plays, and concerts. The building, designed in the Romanesque style with a striking clock tower and stained-glass windows, was funded through student fundraising after initial financial support was withdrawn. It also briefly served as a military hospital during World War I, making it a site of both educational and historical significance.
