Old Post House, Wimbern

The Old Post House, or Alte Poststation, located in Wimbern, Wickede, Germany, is a historic 19th-century building that served as a post house and is now a cultural heritage site. Commissioned by Post Master Christoph Schlünder and completed by his son Nicolaus between 1822 and 1824, it played a vital role in facilitating travel during the era of horse-drawn carriages. The building features distinctive architecture with a brick facade and original elements like a natural stone floor and fireplace.
