Palazzo Orsini Pio Righetti

The Palazzo Orsini Pio Righetti, located in the Parione district of Rome, is a historic building constructed around 1450 atop the ruins of the Temple of Venus Victrix from the Theatre of Pompey. Its facade was redesigned in the 17th century, and it offers views of the vibrant areas of Campo de' Fiori and Piazza del Biscione. Notably, a gilded bronze statue of Hercules was discovered in its courtyard in 1864, which was later donated to Pope Pius IX and is now displayed in the Vatican Museum, making this site a point of interest for both tourists and researchers alike.
