Oklahoma Department of Transportation - Cultural Resources Program

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation's Cultural Resources Program conducts archaeological surveys, investigations, and mitigation as part of transportation projects in and around Oklahoma City. ODOT coordinates with the State Historic Preservation Office to identify and protect archaeological sites affected by highway construction and maintains reports from these investigations. The program ensures compliance with federal and state regulations for cultural resource management during infrastructure projects.
