The Atascadero Printery, a historic building in Atascadero, California, was constructed in 1915 by city founder Edward Gardner Lewis for his printing company. It has served various purposes over the years, including a junior college, prep school, and Masonic Temple. After falling into disrepair, it was purchased in 2017 by the Atascadero Printery Foundation for $300,000, which aims to restore it as a community center featuring a theater, arts programs, and a museum. The building is recognized on the National Register of Historic Places, highlighting its significance as a once-prolific printing operation in the U.S.
