Bay Building (Vancouver)

The Bay Building, located at the bustling intersection of Granville and Georgia Streets in downtown Vancouver, is a historic six-storey structure that served as the flagship store for the Hudson's Bay department store chain until its closure in June 2025. Built between 1914 and 1949, the building features elegant cream terra cotta and Corinthian columns, reflecting its architectural significance. Originally, the site housed a smaller HBC store dating back to 1893.
