California Building (Museum of Us) - Balboa Park

The California Building was constructed for the 1915–1916 Panama-California Exposition and its ornate Spanish-Colonial Revival tower has become an iconic symbol of Balboa Park. The building long housed the San Diego Museum of Man and today is occupied by the Museum of Us, containing anthropological exhibits and cultural collections. Its architecture and location on El Prado make it a documented historic landmark within the park.
