BancFirst Tower

BancFirst Tower is a prominent skyscraper located in downtown Oklahoma City, standing at 152.4 meters (500 feet) tall, making it the second tallest building in the city. Originally completed in 1971 as Liberty Tower for Liberty National Bank, it has undergone several name changes and ownerships, reflecting the evolution of banking in the area. The tower features 36 floors and is home to various businesses, including the headquarters of BancFirst. Notably, it underwent extensive renovations completed in 2023, transforming its facade to bright blue glass. The building is also known for hosting the Petroleum Club of Oklahoma City and was the site of a Guinness World Record basketball shot from its roof. Visitors can appreciate its architectural significance and the historical context of its location, which includes a memorial to the USS Oklahoma battleship.
