Pioneer Courthouse Square (the 'living room of Portland')

Pioneer Courthouse Square opened in 1984 and is commonly described as Portland's "living room." The 40,000-square-foot public plaza hosts hundreds of public events each year, including concerts, political rallies, and cultural festivals, and is the site of the annual Holiday Tree lighting. The square features the bronze "Allow Me" umbrella-carrying statue and sits across from the historic Pioneer Courthouse.
