T.S. Martin and Company

T.S. Martin and Company, also known as Karlton's, Fishgalls & Cameo, is a historic building in Sioux City, Iowa, notable for its Beaux-Arts and Prairie School architectural styles. Originally established in 1880 by Thomas Sanford Martin, it served as a local department store until 1919. The building features intricate terra cotta details and was renovated multiple times by local architects. It was the last locally owned department store when acquired by The May Department Stores Company in 1948. The site was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998, making it a significant landmark for tourists and researchers interested in local history and architecture.
