The Cruise Room at the Oxford Hotel

The Cruise Room is a landmark cocktail bar located in the Oxford Hotel that opened in late 1933 following repeal of Prohibition. Its Art Deco interior was designed to resemble the lounge of the ocean liner SS Normandie. The bar has operated continuously as a hotel bar since opening and is notable for its fixed-length counter and classic cocktail service.
