McColl Center for Art + Innovation - Artist residency and site-specific installations

McColl Center for Art + Innovation operates a long-running artist residency program in Charlotte and presents rotating installation exhibitions by resident and visiting artists in its gallery and outdoor spaces. The center commissions site-specific works and frequently installs temporary public art projects in the First Ward neighborhood as part of exhibitions and community engagement. McColl Center was founded in 1999 and supports contemporary art practice through residencies, exhibitions and public programs.
