Old North Church (Christ Church in the City of Boston)

Christ Church in the City of Boston, commonly known as the Old North Church, was built in 1723 and is Boston's oldest surviving church building. It is historically associated with the April 18, 1775 signal in which lanterns were displayed in the church's steeple to warn of British troop movements, an event linked to Paul Revere's ride. The church retains a largely intact 18th-century interior layout including box pews.
