Orchestra Hall opened in 1919 and was designed by architect C. Howard Crane to house the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. The hall has undergone multiple restorations, including major rehabilitation in the 1980s and further work in the 2010s to restore historic and acoustic elements. It remains an active early-20th-century concert hall and a key piece of Detroit's cultural infrastructure.
