Deacon Samuel Hill House
By Seeker
The Deacon Samuel Hill House, located in Billerica, Massachusetts, is a historic First Period timber-frame house built around 1725. Originally a single-room structure, it was later expanded with a leanto, giving it a classic Georgian saltbox appearance. Notably, one of its upper chambers features rare marbleized wood paneling. The house was relocated in the 1970s and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1990, making it a significant site for both tourists and researchers interested in early American architecture and history.
