Centre North East

Centre North East, the tallest building in Middlesbrough at 19 storeys and 70.7 m (232 ft), was completed in 1974. Originally known as Corporation House, it has seen various uses over the years, including a bowling alley and a nightclub. The building was fully let in 2004 but faced changes in ownership, with significant refurbishments beginning in 2016 after being purchased by Cliff Court Developments. Its history reflects the evolving urban landscape of Middlesbrough, making it a point of interest for both tourists and researchers.
