The James Madison and Leah Arcouet Chiles House is a historic Spanish Colonial Revival villa located in Asheville, North Carolina. Built between 1922 and 1925, this two-story home features distinctive architectural elements such as a low-pitched hip roof with clay tiles, walled courtyards, and private balconies. Inside, visitors can admire oak floors, black walnut paneling, and colorful glazed-tile bathrooms. The house was designed by local architect Ronald Greene for businessman James 'Jake' Chiles and his wife Leah, who were instrumental in developing the Kenilworth neighborhood.
