Ebenezer Academy

Ebenezer Academy is a historic school building located in Rock Hill, South Carolina, constructed around 1860. This one-story, rectangular brick structure is notable for its simple design and historical significance, having originally been associated with Ebenezer Presbyterian Church. It served as an elementary school after being leased to York County in 1888, continuing its educational mission until 1950 when it was returned to the church. As the oldest known school building in York County, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977, making it a point of interest for both tourists and researchers exploring the region's educational history.
