The Orange Show

The Orange Show at 2402 Munger St is a folk-art monument created over decades by Jefferson 'Jeff' McKissack as a one-man tribute to his favorite fruit; it later became the Orange Show Center for Visionary Art. The site is an example of outsider art preserved as a cultural attraction and hosts the annual Orange Show Festival and other community events. Its intricate, hand-built structures and mosaics make it a tucked-away artistic landmark in Houston's East End.
