Strickland-Roberts Homestead

The Strickland-Roberts Homestead, also known as Bryncoed Farm, is a historic house located in West Vincent Township, Pennsylvania, recognized for its architectural significance and rich history. Built around 1800, this two-story fieldstone structure features a gable roof and a charming porch. An addition designed by architect R. Brognard Okie was added in 1929, enhancing its historical value. The property also includes a bank barn from 1873. Notably, the homestead was the residence of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Owen J. Roberts from 1927 until his death in 1955, making it a site of interest for both tourists and researchers alike. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.
