Detroit Masonic Temple (largest Masonic temple complex)

The Detroit Masonic Temple opened in 1926 and was designed by George D. Mason; it is widely cited as the largest Masonic temple complex in the world by area. The Gothic Revival building contains multiple theaters, ballrooms, and lodge rooms and has hosted concerts, civic events, and Masonic functions for decades. The temple remains an active fraternal and performance venue and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
