Charles Adams-Woodbury Locke House

The Charles Adams-Woodbury Locke House, built around 1840, is a notable example of Greek Revival architecture located in Somerville, Massachusetts. Originally constructed for a Boston leather merchant, it represents one of the early commuter residences in the Winter Hill neighborhood. The house features a distinctive front-facing gable roof, a single-story porch supported by Doric columns, and retains much of its original woodwork. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989, it reflects the area's historical development and the lives of its early residents, including farmer and state legislator Charles Adams.
