Laurelton Hall

Laurelton Hall, the former home of renowned artist Louis Comfort Tiffany, was an exquisite 84-room mansion located in Laurel Hollow, New York, completed in 1905. Designed in the Art Nouveau style, it uniquely blended Islamic motifs with natural elements and served as both a residence and a showcase for Tiffany's celebrated stained glass works. The estate, which originally spanned 1,500 acres, also included a school for artists and housed the Tiffany Chapel. After Tiffany's death, the mansion fell into disrepair, was sold in 1949, and tragically burned down in 1957. Today, many of its architectural remnants are preserved at the Morse Museum in Florida, and a retrospective exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art highlights its artistic legacy.
