Sarfatti Building

The Sarfatti Building, located on the Bocconi University campus in Milan, Italy, is a notable example of Italian Rationalist architecture. Designed by Giuseppe Pagano and Gian Giacomo Predaval, its construction began in 1937 and was completed by 1941. The building features a distinctive cross-shaped plan and is adorned with medieval-style lion statues by sculptor Arturo Martini at its entrance, along with bas-reliefs by Leone Todi. As the first structure of the Bocconi University campus, it represents a significant architectural achievement and is a point of interest for both tourists and researchers exploring modernist design.
