Jarrow Hall

Jarrow Hall is a historic Grade II listed building located in Jarrow, Northeast England, built around 1785 by businessman Simon Temple. After a period of decline and near demolition, it was restored and transformed into the Bede Monastery Museum in 1974, celebrating the local scholar Bede. Today, it serves as a cafe and museum office within the Jarrow Hall - Anglo-Saxon Farm, Village and Bede Museum, featuring a permanent exhibition on the hall's history. Visitors can also explore the nearby Grade II listed Jarrow Bridge, which spans the River Don.
