Myrtle Grove Plantation, Georgia

Myrtle Grove is a historic plantation located in Richmond Hill, Georgia, originally gifted to Revolutionary War hero Nathanael Greene. The antebellum-style house, built in 1849 by General Richard Arnold as a wedding gift, has a rich history, including ownership by district attorney Samuel Pennington Rotan in the 1920s. Renamed Folly Farm during their tenure, it later reclaimed its original name. Since 1964, it has been owned by the Meeks brothers and has served as a filming location for numerous productions, notably gaining fame from its appearance in 'Birth of a Nation' (2016).
