Phoenix Zoo

Phoenix Zoo opened in 1962 in Papago Park and has grown into Arizona's largest non-profit zoo, operated by the Phoenix Zoological Society. The zoo maintains hundreds of animals across numerous species and participates in accredited conservation and species survival programs. Its exhibits include primate habitats, African savanna species, and educational programs for visitors of all ages.
