Old Red Museum (Dallas County Courthouse)

The Old Red Museum is housed in the 1892 Dallas County Courthouse, a red sandstone Romanesque Revival building commonly called 'Old Red' and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The courthouse was repurposed as the Old Red Museum of Dallas County History & Culture and now interprets the region's history through exhibits and public programs. The building is a frequently cited architectural and civic landmark in downtown Dallas.
