Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP) - Frank Gehry’s undulating metal forms

The Museum of Pop Culture (originally the Experience Music Project) opened in 2000 and its building was designed by architect Frank O. Gehry. The structure is clad in a variety of colored and textured metal panels and is noted for its organic, flowing forms that depart from conventional rectilinear museum design. MoPOP was renamed from EMP to Museum of Pop Culture in 2016 and houses exhibits on music, science fiction, and popular culture.
