Kings Theatre (formerly Loew's Kings Theatre)

Loew's Kings Theatre opened in 1929 as an ornate movie palace designed by the firm Rapp and Rapp. The theatre closed in 1977, underwent an extensive restoration starting in the 2010s, and reopened in 2015 as a performing arts venue. It is one of Brooklyn's largest surviving movie palaces and is designated a New York City landmark for its architectural and cultural significance.
