Wayside Inn (Gibsland, Louisiana)

The Wayside Inn, constructed in 1857 and located on Louisiana Highway 154 near Gibsland, is a notable historic site recognized for its unique architectural features, including the only pedimented entrance portico in the area. Built by Reverend Jesse Hartwell, who served as president of Mt.
