5Pointz aerosol art complex

5Pointz was an outdoor aerosol art space and international graffiti mecca that covered a factory complex in Long Island City, Queens. The complex at 45-46 Davis Street displayed hundreds of murals by street artists from the late 1990s through 2013. In November 2013 the building owner whitewashed many of the murals overnight, and the buildings were demolished in 2014 to make way for condominium development.
