State Trading Corporation building

The State Trading Corporation building, also known as Jawahar Vyapar Bhawan, is a striking example of modernist architecture located on Tolstoy Marg in New Delhi. Designed by architect Raj Rewal and completed between 1976 and 1989, the building showcases a unique blend of Japanese Metabolism influences and Mughal architectural elements, particularly in its vibrant sandstone cladding. The structure features innovative Vierendeel trusses, making it a notable landmark in post-Independence India.
