Merchant's House Museum - Seabury Tredwell Family Home

The Merchant's House at 29 East Fourth Street was the residence of merchant Seabury Tredwell and his family from about 1835 until 1933. The building is preserved as the Merchant's House Museum, retaining much of the original family furnishings and interior fabric and interpreted as a 19th-century Manhattan family home. The house is a designated New York City landmark and is documented in the city's preservation records.
