Minute Maid Park train and Union Station façade

Minute Maid Park incorporates the preserved facade of the historic Houston Union Station into its architecture. A replica 19th-century-style train runs on a short track above the outfield wall and is activated for events such as Astros home runs. The combination of the train and Union Station elements is a distinctive, intentionally historic design feature of the downtown ballpark.
