Rolette House

The Rolette House, situated in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, is a historic site that began construction under Jean Joseph Rolette, who unfortunately passed away before its completion. This intriguing structure has served various purposes over the years, including a hotel and boarding house. Recognized for its historical significance, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1972 and the State Register of Historic Places in 1989. The Rolette House is one of only two properties associated with Rolette to receive such honors, making it a notable destination for tourists and researchers interested in local history.
