Pueblo Grande Museum Archaeological Park (Hohokam village)

Pueblo Grande preserves the ruins of a Hohokam agricultural village and platform mound dating primarily from about AD 450–1450. The on-site museum displays artifacts recovered from the site and interprets Hohokam irrigation canal systems that once supported large populations in the Salt River valley. The site is an active archaeological park and educational center documenting prehistoric Native peoples who lived in the Phoenix basin.
