Bexar County Courthouse (1891–1896)

The Bexar County Courthouse is a Romanesque Revival building designed by architect J. Riely Gordon and completed in 1896. Constructed of red sandstone, it replaced earlier county facilities and served as the county's primary courthouse for decades. The building is a prominent example of late 19th-century civic architecture in San Antonio and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
